My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
The bed is quite easy to remove....biggest challenge is getting the big Torx plus bolts out. Besides that there is the filler tube, some supports and some electrical plugs to disconnect. two people can carry it off.

It's cos of a bad fuel pump, and cracked filler tube that I'm even considering tank removal.

I was able to remove the truck bed yesterday. It wasn't that difficult.
The problem i have now is how do i key in the plastic retainers holding the fuel hoses on the fuel pump back? One of the clips were broken, while the other was intact.
Is there a trick or tool used to remove remove or fix those retainers in place?

That's the plastic retainer clip I'm referring to. Is there a trick in how it should be installed?

There also isn't much rust on the frames, but I'd have to treat them for future remedies.

I may even lift the truck too. I can only see the leafsprings are just 3 on each sides. I may add two more, to make it a total of 5 each.
