Been having pinging, sputters, and loss of power accelerating once the engine gets to temp. Idle is around 800rpm, steady, and a little too quiet?
Replaced fuel filter, fuel pump, oil, oil filter, and ran some seafoam and higer octane gas through the tank with no changes
Things got better after doing spark plugs, wires, and coil pack along with O2 sensors but still not great. Noticed at the same time of the sputter a large wave of hot air is pushed out of the tailpipe.
From what I've read since this happens when the engine is warm it could be the cats or egr. If that's correct what would be the best way to diagnose?
