engine clatter

i get an engine clatter between 2,000 rpm and 3,000 rpm it not constant just happens for a second or 2 then i press on the pedal. so i was just wanting to know what could cause that and if any problems could happen from it

Could be timing or carbon buildup try seafoaming it it helped mine.Hope this helps.

Mine does it on regular gas only. When I run premium no noises what so ever

could be valves rattling try lucus valve treatment oil this is some great stuff. also the timing could be advance or retard to much.

you know i seafoamed it when i first bought it with 173k and there was no smoke at all i was kind of upset i was hoping to blow away the neighborhood. lol i havent put premium in in a while but i know my truck sure did like it i just cant afford it. ok ill try one of those

why start a new thread for a simple question. How many o rings do i need for the fuel injectors

12. be careful, the pintle caps like to pop off when pulling them out
