I can't seem to find anything about this .
Please remember, my service career was long ago, when the EGR valves first arrived they caused all manner of poor running and seriously tanked the fuel economy .
To disable the EGR all I needs do is un hook the vacuum hose .
Has anyone else tried this ? .
Any downsides ? .
Yes, I have tested the EGR valve and it works perfectly .
I'm getting a very light vacuum signal to the vale at hot idle .
TIA,
