I have a 1993 ford ranger, 4x4, 4.0, manual tranny (Bruce Jenner) The keys have been lost to this truck while I was out working. Keep a spare for the door key in the wallet but the door and ignition keys are different. Any way to bypass the ignition lock to where just any key can start it? My ol Toyota ignition switch is so wore out I can just use a flat head to start it. But seeing that in this truck that it isn’t as wore out... what can I do to get the steering wheel to unlock and drive it. Not really worried bout anyone taking the truck and if I have to I’ll replace it all (trying to keep from having to drill it out and looking for a quick fix) but if I can get it to where a screwdriver can start it I’ll be happy with that. I’m even okay with hot wiring it but don’t know where to start on any of this. Thank y’all and have a nice day.
