2001 Ranger Edge.

The instruments under the plastic cover are very dusty.

I would like to remove the clear plastic cover and do a little cleaning.

I can not figure out on how to remove the clear plastic cover.

I did remove the three small hex headed screws along the top, but nothing came apart.

What's up?

Thank you.

i pretty much took the "take as much stuff off until you get to it" aproach on my 2000. i thought at first if i took the 3 bolts from the bezel around the plastic cover it would work. 30 minutes later i had the drivers side dash apart.

i have a 99 ford ranger and its a pain in the ass. on mine u first take those three screws out, then remove the two switches for the dimmer and the headligths, then pop the lowset plastic peice off, the one that goes from the pedals up to under the steering wheel, then the upper dask has two bolts behind a meteal peice that u have to unbolt and pull down, then u have to pop off the cenetr dash peice, then there are about 5 screws holdn on the plastic guage cover
