I'm looking to drop my explorer 1-1.5"s. How do I go about it? I was thinking about a zero rate leaf in the back for the 1.25"s, but the front is where I was not sure. I'd rather not cut my springs.

Sorry, it's a 91. I don't know if I want to go a full 2"s yet. That's a bit more than I wanted. I know, it's only another 1/2"-1" but still. I don't want it dropped a lot.

Maybe try some coils from a 4 cyl truck... They may loosen up the suspension a bit though.

Are the buckets taller on the 2wd rangers or are the springs different? I've never noticed the 2wd explorers to be any shorter than the 4wd ones.

No, it's 4wd, I don't want it overly low as the snow gets pretty deep here.

either go the 2"s or dont lower it at all. If u want the 1" drop ur probably gonna have to cut the coil springs which will lead to a bumpy ass ride
