drop hangers vs flip kit

i have a flip kit and 4 inch leaf spring drop hangers, is one better than the other when only using one of the two?

Also how much of a drop when using both?

The flip kit drops you the diameter of the axle tube, plus the thickness of the leaf springs. 4-5.5 inches, depending on the axle.

I've never seen drop hangers for a Ranger. Have a pic, or a link?

OP might be thinking of a shackle hanger flip plus chevy drop shackles. I'm not expert but think the hanger flip will net you the length of the shackle in drop, ie; half of the total distance from old position to new. Same with the extended shackle, you will net half of the extension ie; old shackle 4", new shackle 6" (6-4)/2= 1" total drop [with shackle flip].

Here's a picture of the hangers along with some other things I bought as a package deal.
Pretty new to rangers scene and this is the first truck I've owned. So I would assume these are hangers.
