I did a 302 swap in 1988 ranger 2wd with a c4 transmission but the drive shaft is to short jw if I have to get one coustom made or if there's one I can use from other vehicles that will work

If you know how much longer you need, try a local salvage yard. Find one that has driveshafts on a shelf/wall with tags. When they aren't busy , you might be surprised how willing some are to help you find something that will work.

If you know how much longer you need, try a local salvage yard. Find one that has driveshafts on a shelf/wall with tags. When they aren't busy , you might be surprised how willing some are to help you find something that will work.
I think they realize that stuff is junk unless someone wants it. And the odds of someone else needing that particular driveshaft is probably slim to none. The local junkyard around here all have walkies and radios to contact eachother for parts if they dont have it. They all help each other clear inventory and make a sale. Its a rare version of humanity benefiting each other.

Hey Blake, I see you're in Michigan too. I had my driveshaft custom made for a very reasonable price. I went to CCI Driveline in Casco. They are located about 5 miles east of I- 94 on 26 mile rd. Real easy to work with, real quality product and about half the price everybody else is charging!! 586-716-1160
