How different is the rubber seal for doors between different Ford models.

I just helped a buddy strip down a 2011 police interceptor Crown Vic. It was a low mileage patrol car and the interior pieces were in excellent condition, including the seals. Could I possibly swap that out for the seals in my Ranger. The ones from the CV don't seem to be pre formed, and will almost lay out flat and straight.

Does this stuff just come off of a roll or is it model specific?

When I replaced all the weather stripping on my old F-150 I bought a kit off rock auto with all the pieces. Looked like everything was pre formed for the hard bends and cut to length.

I'm getting off my lazy butt to go do a compare/contrast between the two. Soon ...

What's the worst that could happen?
I'm looking for the seals that go along the bottoms of the doors on my 94. They appear to be different from the on-the-body door seals -- and I can't find any info on them from LMC or Rock. They both offer the on the body seals, but not the ones that go on the bottom of the doors. Any info would be great. thanks

Top is from the Ranger. Bottom is the Crown Vic. CV piece is shorter than the Ranger piece.
Totally different, but worth the 5 minutes
