We need to stop messing with the framework that the founding fathers created.
Dumb question, how do you remove these door panels at the top? The bottom is clearly in by the plastic “Christmas trees” but not seeing how the top attached? I need to open it up but don’t want to break anything.

It just hooks in at the top. You have to raise it up. Look for a screw pointing down inside the handle where you grab the door. Take that out if you have one, take the trim bezels and handles off, then pull the clips out all around the edge on the bottom and sides, and then while pulling out the bottom slightly, push up on the door panel and it should come off.

Thank franklin2. I think the last owner glued it along the very top or the waist seals are so old that they are locking it on.
I’ll give it another try and use more force.
