Anybody replace their door hinge pins and bushings on a 2007 or newer Ranger? I have no problem finding them for 2006 or older.

Cheers

Edit: LMC lists their pin and bushing kit as fitting 93-11s. Looks the same as the Dorman kit.

I've never had a need to but the year listing is consistent with information here on what fits and what doesn't in a given year range.

Thanks for the input sgtsandman. To clarify, do you mean the 93-11 is consistent with the information here (and by "here", do you mean the forum)?

Yes, 93-11 is consistent with the information here, depending on the part. Others are 98-11 due to the redesign of the frame. I don't believe the cab changed significantly form 93-11. And here means this forum and another Ranger forum I've belonged to for a long time that is not associated with this one other than perhaps some mutual members.

I've used those Dorman hinge pins on an F-150 before. The bushing are junk. They broke apart when I tried to press them into the hinges. On the second set, I ended up sticking the bushings in the freezer, opening the holes slightly and then heating the hinges to get them the expand ever so slightly so the bushings would go in.

After going through that mess, I just shimmed the bottom worn out hinge with some washers. That was way easier.
