Yes, I have one. The Crew Cab is a lot more popular and you see a lot more of them. I have no need for a full back seat and I'd rather have a longer bed. My son's girlfriend rode in the back seat Saturday night when I gave them a lift home from the bar (they live nearby and walked) and that was the first time in at least a year and a half that someone was in the back seat. She's 5 foot nuthin so no fitment issues.

Hey Guys,

4 days after getting my new truck some jackass dinged my rear bumper while I was in a store. No note.

It's going to cost $1700 to fix with Ford parts (I have to order the ENTIRE rear bumper assembly).

So today I will explore any options for an aftermarket bumper that mat be more cost effective. Any ideas?

My credo
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
Affordable Off Road. Put in a Class 3 or greater hitch at the same time if it doesn't have one.
Bumper/hitch probably 2 things but might be an integral one.
Heavy rear bumper (reinforced mounts) with D-rings on it. Hitch would let you add a winch at any time temporary mount, regarless of whether you actually tow or not.
With that rugged bumper they can ram into you it probably wouldn't hurt your truck, also might discourage people doing that if they see, wow, if I hit that, I'm only wrecking me.
It might not be cheaper but it's unlikely you'd be replacing it, and, you'd be ready to at least pull people or them pull you backwards if you off road at all.
Just suggestions. Guys on here have done, like, everything, so they can probably help more. Don't know if it affects insurance or anything since it would be aftermarket part but I think they are much ruggeder and on mine would look great, don't know on yours.

that's not for your year but certainly they must make them for the new. Probably are lots of other places too.

Affordable Off Road hasn’t gotten around to making bumpers for the 2019+ yet.

If you have the bumper sensors, that is something to look for. The bumpers that are out there, some support the sensors and others do not. That was not a thing to worry about with the older Rangers.

Guys,

I'm going with a Steelcraft Automotive rear bumper. Already paid for and will be installed in 2 days. $1200 installed rather than $1800 to repair the OEM bumper.

Will post pics after install.

Actually kind of looks like it's the OEM bumper, minus the light holes and D rings.

It kind of does. Part of the charm for me. Somewhat of a factory look but more useful and durable.

Nice! Did you do the work yourself?

If so, how was the install? Were the bumper sensors easy to swap? What are the square holes for? Auxiliary work/backup lights?

Install was done by my local 4x4 shop. Easy swap.

Yes, the square cutouts are specifically for the 3" Cube LED lights that several companies make. I will go with the Plash Lights made here in Texas.
