Would TTB knuckles work or are they solid specific? If it were a 60 I would say yes, I have seen it done. But being out of a 1500 which won't be a D60 but a D44 I would say I don't know. You would need the knuckles from a Ford D44 to accomplish the swap. That fact alone would lead me to believe it would be more effective to start with a Ford axle. If you were planning to build a custom axle with custom shafts then the cost of possibly buying a complete axle just for the knuckles out wouldn't be an issue. The should offer a free spin hub kit for them i believe
That is also in a fullsize truck. I doubt many F-150 owners hold the 31 spline 8.8 in as high of a reguard as we do with our much lighter Rangers. Also forgot to mention a good many of these will have a CAD. Anyone who really wheels a Dodge will normally toss this axle for either a Dana 60 or a Ford HP Dana 44.
