Good afternoon all, I am installing my lowering kit and I can’t tell if there is a difference is passenger and drivers side upper control arm. Some reviewer on the site said that there is a difference but it’s not in the instructions. Does it really matter?

A quick look at your pic and it seems they are mirror images but not symmetrical, if that makes sense. The angles of the arms are not the same. I would say they are a definite left and right side

In these instructions they say there is a left and right arm, though they do not tell you how to tell the difference.

Do you know which stock arm was left and which one was right? I would lay the stock arms side by side and compare them. Whatever differences they have, probably would be the same differences in the DJM arms.

Call DJM's tech line. It's faster and more accurate than asking strangers on the internet.

Haha, I did both just to be sure.

I'd be curious to know what they say. I'm guessing the small hole in the top of the control arms goes to the rear.

From Rick when I had the same question -

"The one with the dot on the under side of the plate is the passenger side."

It kinda looks like a little weld ball. It'd be nice if this was in the instructions.

Well damn, now I have to disassemble the side I finished. They should etch L and R on the bottom like the fender liners have. Or write updated instructions 😂
