Picked this up for $400. Was planning to build my own, but the cost of 2 axles would have run me close to what I got this for.

Its 14x7, 2 6 lug axles with electric brakes.

After looking at it, the guy needed to clear all his stuff off.


Got it home. Also had a full width 8.8 in the bed of the truck too, but she pulled it just fine.



Stripping it down. Going to replace the fenders since they are completely rusted out. Also taking wood off and inspecting the frame. There's a few places that need welded back together.

Nice steal for the price. Are you just going to rebuild it to what it is now (flatdeck) or did you have other plans for it?

I would love to see the focus pull it and see the reaction on people's faces.

The plan is to rebuild the fender wells, make them lower and wider, and make them longer to reduce the incline so the focus doesn't bottom out. Then build some ramps. Not sure if I want hinged or removable.

I'll probably leave the center open for now. It will make oil changes easier.

I wish I had room to store a trailer... As is my bronco II barely fits on the damn property in the new place. Takes 5 minutes and a 27-point turn to get it into/out of its parking spot beside that carport lol

I'm flat broke so I am going to try to build the fenders with steel I already have. Didn't get very far before running out of wire.

Starting to look like a fender. Even if its pieced together.

Started on the ramps and did a little work to the left fender. Trying to figure out what to do for the ramps. I don't want wood like the top, it will cause wind resistance when raised. I need to get a price on some expanded metal.

When I built the ramps for my trailer I used 1.5" x 1.5" angle. They were 4' long and 12" wide and the center I spaced the angle out every 8" so the outside edge was facing down when the ramps were down. Worked great for my needs. I will see if I can find a picture of them
