My photo shop skills suck, but if I were to cut the hood to match the profile and leave the the plumbing sticking out, does it look good, or should I cover it all?
I vote "visible". I like the bundle o' snakes look, and I think that it would be funny to see the look on the ricers' face when they see those pipes sitting there, not even THINKING about trying to hide them...
Yes, the hood stack is only temporary. I had to guess at turbo sizing, so those might change, and if they do, the exhaust would have to change too. Once I get the turbo's dialed in, then the hood stack goes away, and the stacks get plumbed.
OK, I hated the way the wiring looked before, so I yanked all of the OEM Ranger stuff out, and Bought a Painless wiring kit. Everything works now, and it looks a million times cleaner under the hood. For the first time ever, I have brake lights. Tomorrow, I "SHOULD" get the right yoke for the drive shaft, and honestly, if they finish it early enough, I "COULD" have video tomorrow night. Here is a before and some after shots. I like it much better. I have been accused of being anal before. LOL
