Okay so I have a Dana 44 high pinion out of a 79 ford 3/4 ton and when I got it the guy told me that it needed a new ring gear cause teeth were missing. So I went the other day and bought a Dana 60 for the rear and its out of a 78 dodge 3/4 ton and the guy also gave me the Front Dana 44 I know its pass side drop but my question is Can I Use That Ring and Pinion or Just Ring Gear in My ford Housing But The Dodge One is Not A High Pinion Will that Matter Thanks

Yes it matters, the gears are cut differently. You need a set of gears specifically for your your high pinion D44. Sorry to break the bad news to ya.

Depending on how you wanna do it, you could run a divorced transfer case and set it up for passenger drop and use the dodge axles. As long as the driveshaft clears the oil pan and exhaust and all that shizz.

That's what i'm doin on my crawler.

It would be easier to just find the correct axle for Driverside drop then to go through the work of running a divorced case. specially by the time you buy a divorced case and get it to work.
