Dana 35 manual hubs

Did the Dana 35 on rangers or explorers ever come stock with manual hub lockouts? I've got a D28 with manual hub lockouts and want to upgrade to a D35. The only D35's I've seen are auto hubs (which isn't what I want). Thanks.

Yes they came stock with manual hubs. Mostly the lower end base trucks or 2 door explorers.

Weird.. My 94 Explorer 4dr XLT has manuals on it. I may not be the original owner, but the history was given to me. All owners were "mature" people and when I bought it, it was almost completely factory (just the radio was changed). I wouldn't be scared to say that it was in it's "factory" trim when I bought it. Come to think of it, it does have some strange options on it... like a sun roof and power leather seats. Maybe I'll do some homework and see if this is how it was built.

It was an option, has nothing to do with trim package, like most RBV options...

Yep, another weird Ford option. When I ordered my truck in '97, electric t/case and auto hubs were standard, manuals were an option.

If you buy hubs, get the Warn Jeep hubs. The housing is a little more beefy than the Ford Warns. Go figure. There is a thread on them here somewhere with part numbers.
