I was wondering about those spools you see on ebay, says they are for a Dana 44 rear, well would they work on a front dana 44? as long as its the same spline count does it really matter if its front or rear, standard or reverse rotation, or if its ford or jeep or chevy?
thanks

they are the same axle, just make sure it isnt a hybrid axle. But if the splines are the same i dont see why it wouldnt.

Does the listing give you bearing diameter and separation? I can't say from personal experience but i know these are two things dana likes to screw with from one application to another. Measure yours and ask the seller if the ad doesn't say.
