The L/S just gives you that little bit of extra traction in the snow and mud that keeps you moving. Im not building a crawler so I find a locker to be unneeded...Ah ha, that's a whole 'nother can of worms.
We were referring to trying to climb over an obstacle at low speeds, as in the truck is all twisted up crawling through a valley.
If you've already got your front end built and is holding up, then go for it.
A L/S will last a bit longer in any situation than a locker, because if one wheel is bound up the power still has somewhere to go.
I put up a post in Cherokee forum asking if anybody has a D35 L/S they want to sell me...
If anyone here has something let me know.....
