- it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
In that case, brake bias may be another consideration. I have owned Trac Lok d28 and lunchbox d35...and used a arb d35. I went to brake bias because the lunch box was eating axle shafts for breakfast lunch and dinner....and the cost of a arb that will fail in those conditions is way too high.
V8 power....and I drove...with... Uhhhh.... determination....back then. Maybe it was reckless abandon.....
I like the predictable behavior of a locker over a limited slip... But the TT is a great piece. The c clip if you try to retain it needs to be butchered....I don't remember the bearing part. And a certain gear won't work.....which I don't recall was a certain brand....or ratio...or thickness due to ratio.
Best thing is to find a ring and pinion guy that has done these ttb setups beforehand....then make a purchase.
Regardless....a carrier out of a 93 Cherokee....open....we pulled it and swapped the d35 ring on it....plopped it in with original setup....and drove out after a welded carrier let loose on a badlands run. So. ..I don't see an issue.
