If you're doing a TTB D35 manual hub swap from auto hubs, you'll need to buy a hub/bearing nut conversion kit also. The nut for the auto hubs won't work with the manual hubs. However, the average price for this kit is around $40.00. It's a cardboard box with these two platic bags in it that contain the two nuts & lock washer. One bag per side. At 4Wheel Parts, at least in this town, you can buy the needed parts for less if you don't ask for the conversion kit.

Dana Spicer part #28068X has what you need for one side. Buy two bags at $3.99 each. You're lookin' at under $10.00 for THIS version of a conversion kit. This also fits the D44 on Fullsize half tons. I hope this can help someone save some money.

$23.00 per side from the Ford Dealership here, But I needed 'em NOW!
Good work, by the way, posting all this good info!
Careful when cranking down that outer locknut, the washer spun on me and kinda ruined
the "key" that fits into the keyway on the spindle.
Thus the trip to Ford.

Any idea if there is a newer part number for that bag of 3 parts? I just looked at the 4wheel website and can't find anything by it. Just the "Conversion kits" is all I find listed.

Also for the guy that bought them at the Ford dealer, did you ask for the Conversion kit or something else when you talked to the parts manager?

Thanks in advance for your help.

That is a Dana Spicer part #.

You might have to call them and ask for it, little sh!t like that they don't seem to bother putting on their web page (for one thing, it might cut into their sales of the 5X higher-priced Warn kits they would probably rather sell you).

Also check with any other distributors of Spicer parts.
