I can't believe no one suggested car-part.com . I searched for a column in my area and found a whole list.

I've gotten two columns off of there and they where both junk. I want new parts to rebuild mines instead of picking up another 40 year old column that will need to be rebuilt in due time.

Do you know which bearing to pick up from this list on mcmaster?

i will have to pull it out of my spare column again for dimensions. i have all sorts of notes out in my barn...can not find those. and they look different as well.

i crushed the body mount and the bearing is destroyed....spit right out....and beat the hell out of my u joints on the shaft



mine was more like this one, which is not listed for ranger.

Dang, I'm at the point where I'm willing just fork out the money for it. If I can get the correct parts in my hand, I can send them down to my old high school machine shop and see if some of the students there can make me a few spares as a school project. I desperately need a safe tight steering column.
