Thats a sweet frame! kinda looks like the one under my 68 minus the bad ass rear setup you put on it.
The front bag mounts reminded me of my old frame, I also cut the spring mount in half and mounted the bag mount the same.
You got some skills!!:icon_thumby:

Uploaded some more pics. We decided to change the valves, rather than cluttering things up with the SMC valves we were going to use the owner decided to upgrade to an ASCO polished billet manifold. These things are really nice! Also cut, formed and welded the bag gussets in place, I would have got the other side done but I ran out of cut off wheels for cutting out the gussets.

So sweet!!!

One question? How do you keep the ring for the balljoint from shrinking when you put heat on it(weld) I did that once and the ring shrunk and I couldnt thread the balljoint back in there.

Thanks

Are you talking about the balljoint cups? I would advise machining a brass or even steel slug that would screw into the threads. When I first started welding 4 link bungs into DOM I was finding that the threads were shrinking and I would have to tap it back out. But then I tryed welding it with a bushing stud threaded into the bung and it kept the threads from distorting.
