Ive got a 1994 ranger 2.3 internal crank sensor, is the motor thats being removed. Ive got a real good 1995 2.3 external crank sensor that i own. The party that im having swap them out tells me it will not work because of the crank sensor diffferences is there a simple solution for this??

Welcome to TRS :)

No, there is no simple, or otherwise solution
1989-1994 2.3l is different from 1995-1997 2.3l

Its not placement of the crank sensor, 1994 uses DC volt(hall effect) crank sensor, 1995 uses AC volt(VR), there is no electrical conversion for these two signals
