Hey all,

I have a 2004 4.0L and I've noticed the coolant warning light on the dash does not light up when I turn the key to on. I had a previous 4.0 ranger and the light would come on for that one so I'm wondering what could be the issue. I already removed the instrument cluster and it is an LED and I went through the pain of replacing it but the light still does not come on. My coolant gauge works fine so I don't think it could be the Coolant sender. Advice?

I am not familiar with your truck, but is that a light for "low coolant" in the coolant reservoir? A sensor or float switch in the plastic bottle?
