Welcome to TRS :)

1995 Explorer would have a 4.0l OHV engine

So you will need an M5OD-R1(M5R1) manual transmission from a 4.0l Ranger 4x4, or Mazda B4000 4x4, 1990 to 2011
Needs to be from a 4x4 or transfer case can't be bolted to it
Also flywheel and clutch set for a 4.0l engine

Transfer case is a BW1354m, m = manual, BW1354e is electric shift, like you have now, and it would work as is with M5R1 manual trans
For transfer case the engine size doesn't matter, or transmission it came off of

The manual transfer cases are not all that hard to find, the SHIFT LINKAGE is very very hard to find
You would want 1991-1997 transfer case because they still had speedometer hook up and front drive shaft yolk
You can use 1998 and up as well, just need a speedometer interface($100) and 1998 and up front drive shaft

As for the clutch/brake pedal assembly?
Not sure if Ranger's cross over to Explorer, many parts do just not sure on this one

You will need to send your engine computer(PCM) out to a programmer who can delete the Automatic Transmission software so CEL(check engine light) is not on all the time and engine idles smoother
You can still drive it with auto trans software, just drives better without it
Check with local Speed Shops, or Dyno Shops, they will know of local Ford Computer programmers, or may do that in house

Did you ever do this conversion? I am considering doing the same swap with a 96 "Control-Trac" 4-door automatic that I would like to purchase. There isn't much info out there on a manual-swap for the 2nd-gen trucks. I'm starting to think that 1st Gen is the way to go.
