I think there is a decent amount of bullshitting going on. Half the guns posted in this thread would be a burden to conceal carry, surely not comfortable all day every day. My .38 snub nose can get annoying at times, and I wouldn't consider myself a small person by any means. If my only carry gun was a 1911 I'd have to wear a trench coat everywhere I went because I sure as hell wouldn't be tucking that hunk of steel inside my belt loop.
i am a bigger guy but with my set up i can hide the XD with zero problem with only a t-shirt for cover.

i can supply pics to prove what i am saying, if you want.

thinking about going to the range with a girl for a first date... $40 each, plus ammo, 9mm starts at 27$/50rds, .45 is 33/50 didn't bother looking at the rifle ammo... gun "rental" is free, but you have to use range ammo so i'm thinking that's going to be like 140 total, that's a little steep for a first date isn't it? but on the other hand, i do need to go shoot a little, so i've got some experience with an actual firearm before i go on course for this job (saw somewhere online that a competitor's course for existing employees to switch from the revolver to a semi auto [9mm i think] is a 1200rd course, not sure what the new hire would be...

No need to provide pics, they wouldn't mean much. I could stuff my Camp 9 down the front of an old pair of carhartt pants with a loose zip up sweatshirt up top and you'd never see it. Doesn't mean it would be comfortable enough to carry everywhere, which is what my post was about. I've carried my P90 a few times, a big fat full framed all metal .45 because it was the only gun I had access to at the time. Would I carry it everyday... hell no. Kudos to you if you can carry a full framed gun all day comfortably.

yeah, i guess you are right. the XD isn't all metal. but to carry a full frame gun comfortably it's all about the holster.

also carhartts do help out with the printing =D

I don't really care about printing much, 99% of the general populations is too oblivious to notice.

Carrying my G20 in it's Old Faithful holster is more comfortable than carrying my XDsc in it's High Noon holster and there's virtually no difference in printing between the two.

I walked in sportsman warehouse and yet remembered I had just bought the XDm so they handed me the coupon. They were giving them to people that were buying guns that day.
