Hi,

I have a 1999 Ranger XLT and will be checking out a free parts day at a local auto wreckers. I'm looking for bumpers, doors, tailgate. I'm wondering what years I should be looking for.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Brian

bumpers: front one 98-00
Rear one:93-11 no matter if its the fancy bumper or the basic one.
tailgate:93-11
doors: they will fit from 93-11, but it depends on the door panels u have. if u have the base ones, its all the same since 93-11.
if u got the xlt ones i believe they updated em in 98. so those will work from 98-11 so they match.

i believe the door panel colors are still the same tone.(dark gray. tan, brown )

Door panels changed in 1995 (Revised interior), They are the same from 95-00, and have some small revisions later IIRC.

Front bumpers will work up to 2003, but you will need the brackets as well.

Can't you get the 06-11 style front end if you change the header panel?

U just need the 06-11 parts.
since the header panel is the same.
u just need the fiber /plastic panel were the headlights bolt up.
the hood has a longer latch ring to compensate the taller hood line

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger XLT. I need to know if a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT will interchange for parts? I need to replace grill, headlights, turn signals & the mounting plate that holds it all together

The sheet metal was changed in 1998. There is no bolt-on cross compatibility between those years.

Translation: You'll need the fenders off the '99. You might need the hood. You might need the rad support. You might also need the bumper.

You will need all of what RangerinSK mentioned, plus you will need to fabricate a mount to make the 98 bumper fit the 97 frame. you *might* be able to get the header panel to work, you might be able to use the 97 bumper with the 98 front end, not 100 percent sure. there are some write ups in the tech library for putting a 98+ front end on a 93 to 97 Ranger tho... check them out.
