Thanks!Noice! I was curious if it held pressure before I sent it out so I oiled up the pump and checked the cab seal... the seal was actually coming apart, I picked out a bunch of chunks so they didn't fall into the tank. Couldn't help myself but I didn't want to tell you and ruin your fun
Knowing that in retrospect it might not have been the pump seal at first but it was my first suspicion, I haven't came across a bad. pump gasket yet but dry pump seals all the time. There is some "stuff" in the fount, not sure if it is rust or dirt, I have been able to shake some of it out.
Vent cleaned up pretty good, it has some kind of tar on it but as of yet my goo-gone is evading me.

Fount cleaned up pretty decent too. The rust thru the decal bugs me... I might tear it back down and repaint the fount in the future. Soaking with acetone to free up any stuck petrified fuel right now, hopefully I can flush out whatever else is there too.
