None here. I've been trying to pay things off and get unfinished projects completed.

Let's keep this alive!!!

Here's my beater stove I mentioned. It's actually not real bad, and I don't have any of this style in my collection... model 413G, February 1973:

I forgot about this one!! I believe I paid $12.50 for it. Almost didn't buy it and will probably sell it...but it's kinda cool with the original box & stuff. Model 425E dated November 1976. It's in probably above average condition, there is some rust in the burner cups and that stupid tin foil is stuck to the bottom.

And then there is this one which I am really excited about and certainly keeping - I scored this from a yard sale last weekend for $20. It is a model 425F dated August 1988 and is about as minty as they get without being unfired. There were a few crumbs and water spots but I would be shocked if it ever got used more than once or twice to make coffee... it is super nice.

My 413G is my favorite stove, I think they missed the mark not building a three burner on its chassis.

Isn't the 426 series exactly that? I think my 3 burner is a 426E... it's the same depth & height as a 413 but wider to accomodate the 3rd burner.

I really want an earlier 426... A, B or C... I think the older 413's that I have are my favorites. A 443 would go really nicely with my 442 though............

They were on the 424 case size/burner spacing or close to it.

413 had a bigger fuel tank than a 426 also.

Oh yeah, forgot about the burner spacing. Actually having used it recently I'm not sure if I'd want them spaced further apart... it's just about right for a standard size cast iron griddle.

I wish there was a way to make one of the outside burners the main one rather than the center burner. If the center and one side were both secondary burners, it would be easier to use a griddle. Lower heat on those two and full blast on a side burner would be really efficient for pancakes & coffee at the same time. Not sure how that could be accomplished without a really complex setup.

My griddle is like textbook perfect on my 413.

The 426 just likes to paint itself in a corner where it doesn't do much more than a 424.

I think mine was like $3 too. I needed a generator though.

I like it better than the new one I bought lol.
I usually carry a dual fuel single burner stove when camping but I might try out this one for a while. I like the flame adjustment on this one much better.

It had a little piece of paper in the bag it came in, someone was taking notes regarding its value on various eBay listings. One was like $80. So I have no idea why they let it go so cheap!

I found something pretty cool.... lady was having an estate sale for her late husband. He had a whole building full of fishing tackle/fly rod stuff plus some tools. I wanted some of the tools so I picked through and found this cool little organizer. It's got all sorts of new Coleman parts. Maybe they sold kits like this to dealers back in the day? It doesn't appear to be a generic organizer with stickers someone slapped on... they are the old water transfer decals & have been on it for a while. Who knows! Missing some drawers is somewhat of a bummer but I paid almost nothing for it. I asked her if he was into Coleman stuff and she said no, and there was no other Coleman gear anywhere in the building. Kind of strange.

Kind if a neat way to end my dry spell

Its so stinking cute it is ridiculous.

And despite being 9 years older (88 vs 97) it compliments my stove quite nicely.

The case is quite impressive too, the latches are much more positive than the usual Coleman "Suicide Case" and the fount locks into the base very securely as well.

I have wanted one for years but they rarely come up, I missed a brown one a couple years ago by half an hour. This one had been listed on marketplace for 5 weeks, the guy thought it must have some value because he had people from Minnesota and the like wanting him to ship it but it wasn't in his way enough to bother and apparently nobody locally was interested. I pulls the pump out and push it in, it has compression, see if the valve moves and it hisses. The case kept the thing pristine like they usually do and of course it followed me home with a brand new 2-pack of period Coleman mantles under the fount.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
