Hey guys started my ranger after sitting for about 2 weeks. Engine runs rough when cold (like its choking and about to stumble but never does when warm runs okay not terrible by any means. Code 21 Coolant temp ECT out of range. If my mind serves me correctly that the sensor under intake manifold seen from drivers wheel well tells Computer engine cold and to run lean. I replaced that not to long ago and also replaced IAC but today cold rough idle is back.

The sensor has 2 wires and feeds the computer temperature info. The sender has 1 and feeds the in dash gauge. Did you replace the sensor or the sender?

Ok. Now I'm out of ideas as diagnostics isn't my strong suit. Hopefully someone with more knowledge sees this. I will keep an eye on the thread.
