So I have an 88 ranger, 2.9L, FM146 transmission with the 4.0 clutch swap.
about 2 months ago my clutch peddle started getting spongy, after about a month and a half it wouldn't disengage until in just about hit the floor. So I ended up bleeding it. It fixed it, but it was only a few weeks before it started again. I bled it again a few days ago, but im waiting for it to start again.
I couldnt find any leaks that i could tell, but the whole inside of the bell housing is pretty moist.
Wondering whether its a bad slave, master, or both.

An update, my clutch fluid level is staying the same, which is something that didn't happen the first time I bled it.
