Hey guys, I bought a new truck, an 02 ranger rcsb 2wd with a 3.0 and m5r1 for a daily driver so I can keep the miles off the dodge and get some better mpg. I bought it with the trans out from the dealership for 400 with the understanding(what their tech said) a broken mainshaft. Well I dissasembled it and it only needs 2 bearing so I ordered a rebuild kit for it, Now I am looking for a clutch for it, my local parts stores want nearly 400 for a clutch kit up here in canada where we seem to get raped on parts. So I started looking around and have found many different options, I dont care if I end up doing it again in a year or anything like that.
What is the defference between a non self adjusting and a self adjusting unit? I am boggled how a hydraulic clutch can NOT be self adjusting?
Where do you guys order clutches from?
