Clutch line

I have a 2001+ 5spd M50D-R1HD. Will the clutch line from an early model M50D-R1 fit. I’m having issues with it clicking on /attaching. Any pointers for connecting the line to the slave fitting. I e tried my best and had no luck with it clicking in. Don’t want to break or ruin anything. Thanks for the help.

Slave(or Master) would have to be pre-1993 to have different connector, I think it was 92/93 when Ford changed that

You can try opening bleeder when pushing connector on, it should start to Gravity bleed with a good connection
