clutch line leaking at slave cylinder???????

I am getting very close to being done with my 302 swap on my ranger and I put a zf trans out of an 88 f250 behind it. I put an 88 f250 slave cylinder in it and i hooked up to a new 94 ranger clutch line to the slave and it just pours out fluid i disconnected it and checked the o ring, its fine. there was an o ring that came with the slave cylinder but it looks the same but maybe not any info would be great im hoping i dont have to pull trans and change the slave to match the line...............?????????????

replace the o-ring to start with. is the old o-ring still stuck inside the slave?

it was a new o ring, on a new clutch line, with a new slave cylinder

and the lines are the same size? does the new line snap securely into the slave?

I dont have an old line the truck was automatic im just wondering if the 94 ranger line is compatible with the 88 f250 slave cylinder, the auto parts store says the part number for a 94 ranger slave cylinder is different than the slave for the 88 f250 but an 88 ranger slave is the same part number so do i need to get a clutch line for an 88 ranger to make it seal with the slave????????????

looked on advance auto's website and the slave for the 88 f250 is the same for an 88 ranger with a 2.9 so i bought a line for an 88 ranger and the o ring is actually a little bigger and now no more leaks.
