So I have a 97 Xlt and my clutch line keeps popping out. I replaced it recently and the shop i took it to completely destroyed the quick connec lip on the line it self. The groove the the black clip on the slave seems to be fine. I thought maybe the clip could've gotten worn down because of how many times its popped out. It was a bad install from the get go. I'm not sure what to replace from here tho...is it the clip? Will I have to replace the whole slave? Or just get a new line? Or just bad parts?
Thanks in advance.

Does yours still have the white teflon ring that goes around the male end of the connector?
