The clutch/ start interlock switch that sits on top of the master, under the clutch pedal. The clutch rod runs through it, and is attached to the pedal with this little double-acting bushing.
As I found out, if this little bushing slips halfway off, your clutch rod travel is reduced, and you have to push the pedal through the floor to get it to start.
Has anyone built a better answer to this retarded little plastic bushing? I just changed it, and it came off the clutch pedal in about a hundred yards. And yes, it was fully installed.
