What is it? I'm trying to simplify a harness, and I'd like it to not be included. :D I'm shooting for a standalone engine/trans harness, so EVERYTHING else is getting tossed.

And while I'm here.... I'd like to omit the instrument panel while I'm at it. I see one wire passing through that needs to be jumped, that's the charge indicator, which should be yellow at one side, and light green/red on the other. Are there any others?

I have both chiltons and haynes books, and they both omit most of the underdash and interior electricals.

I'm just taking my time on this, weeding out circuits as I go. Just wondered if anybody has done this before too.

EDIT: We're talking about a 97 B2300 with five speed here.

Ok, well, I got it running today. :yahoo: To answer my own question, the Central time module is not neccesary for the engine to run. Neither is the other module, which I still have not identified. :icon_twisted:

I basically just started with the lights, and started pulling circuits, got it down to just 4 fuses in the fuse box, and 3 in the distribution block. :icon_thumby:
