I actually like the little hand-held control. Factory would have wired it into dash. Changer is not oem since truck is 97 and cd is 99. Was a good install though.
You see in the center console they had a place for it, in case you preferred using it. All it would take compared to factory is unplugging the cable from the changer and plugging in the hand held.
