Thank you, I think it's better if I get the new carb instead of rebuilding this one. It leaks gas n the choke doesn't work even after a changed the electric choke n that other thing that works the choke can't think of what it's called lol85 2.8 correct?
We answed this already for you once i believe lol.
But anyways, IIRC you were already durasparked...if so...then yes a 2100 will work but the 2100 is actually a step down from the 2150 in terms of cold driveabilty and a few other things.
It will not gain you anything,.
Just buy another 2150. Youll thank me later.Thank you, I think it's better if I get the new carb instead of rebuilding this one. It leaks gas n the choke doesn't work even after a changed the electric choke n that other thing that works the choke can't think of what it's called lol
Turn the mix screws all the way in till lightly seated...then back out 1.5 turns. That is factory baseline. Adjust from there (on a warm engine of course). Theres a certain "feel" to it that if your not experenced with carbs you should pry utilize a vacuum gauge.I bought the 2100 started right up now I'm trying to adjust the idle n mixture
