I took some pics of some of the cars I liked at the car show tonight. Enjoy.....

This Shelby has nearly 600,000 miles on it.

The Shelby has 8 single barrel carbs

This is my buddies' Dads ride

I found a couple more my phone didn't upload last night:

I wish this had turned out better. I love these Lincolns. My phone is a little more sensitive to lighting conditions than I'd like it to be.

Only took this because it's a Fox Body:

The guy that painted my car also did the yellow T-Bucket in the background:

looks like fun, i couldnt own one of those old cars though. i'd be way too nervous. if i did, i'd have to build a large underground concrete bunker to store it, just so it couldnt get scratched.

I know exactly what you mean. Mine is only 23 years old, and I get nervous as hell when people get too close (aka within 5 feet).

Awesome pics! Alot of gassers and Falcons there it seems. I like the '61-'68 Lincoln Continentals as well. My favorite being the first of those models ('61). Looks like fun. And I agree with the both of you, owning and driving a classic is nerve-racking. I hate to say it, but that is why I got my Ranger. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice truck, but I don't get as nervous driving it like I would in my '53 (whenever I get that running again) and the Crown Vicl.

What is your 53? One of my buddies has a 53 Mainline with a Ford-a-matic and a Flathead, and the other has a 50 Custom with a 3 on the tree and a Flathead. Really cool cars.

My other buddy has a 69 Continental with a 460 and a C6. On the radiator support it says it has 365 hp. That thing is cherry. I was hoping he would bring it last night, but he had to work.

EDIT: Here's a pic of it:

It was a decent turn out. Probably get a lot more on the Halloween cruise night.

The blue mustang with the ugly orange racing stripes lives right down the street from me.

I'm a Broncos fan, so those colors go well together..... that said, I would never paint my car that color. It's a really awesome car otherwise.

I should also mention, I was talking to my friends Dad, and he is wanting to do the blue Shelby stripes on mine. He does awesome work, and I really wanted him to paint my car. He wasn't in a position to do it when my wife said "get it painted". Those types of things are when you get on top it in a hurry before minds are changed.

I would be a little scared driving an old classic, but also I feel those vehicles are meant to be driven, ya know? It sometimes pains me to see vehicles that people never drive.

Don't watch me with my car then. I rarely drive it anymore.

PICS?

49-50 Fords are my favorite cars, but i wouldn't mind a 51 victoria.
Not right now. I can probably get some though. It's only primered at the moment, but that doesn't keep it from looking awesome.
