Yeah, it's a shame having to do that every year, but you sure do it well :)

I work in fuel tanks for a living. Don't judge me!
You do this every winter? Why not just leave it up all year?
1. Because it's in the way when working on vehicles while doing anything on the sides of the vehicles.

2. My township thinks it's a Homeowner's Association and has ordinances for just about everything. If I leave it up, they might tax me for it and fine me for not getting a builder's permit.

Thank you. We get a lot of snow on occasion, freezing rain on top of snow and then more snow, and times when winter can't make up it's mind what it wants to do with a lot of freeze thaw cycles. I don't want the thing collapsing from the accumulated weight, so erred on the side of building it too strong.

Cab, I would consider. I have an engine puller in the garage I use to tilt my trailer up for storage in the winter. It's been used to pull a 2.5 Lima out of a 1998 Ranger at one time as well. I still have the engine stand broken down in the back of the garage because, "I might need it again sometime".
