everytime i try to watch a youtube video i keep getting this message "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." I have the latest flash player and javascript is on. I updated my avg antivirus but i can't imagine thats what is causing this. I can watch videos on yahoo, espn, basically anywhere else tho. anyone know what the problem might be?

idk if you've ever tried firefox or anything, but if you use multiple internet browsers adobe and java might not have add-on's that support each browser. For example just because you have everything for Internet Explorer doesn't mean you'll be able to use it on Mozilla, which means you'll have to download the add-on's specially made for FireFox in order to get the same results. Although yes in your case it seems that somehow the old temp files were interfering with the playback. Experience has taught me that those pretty much are the first thing to check if you run into problems with java or adobe. Glad to hear its workin for ya now.
