the diaphragm for the tranny discussed on this link is the part i need but i searched every parts store we have around here and theres nothing is this just because they dont make new ones or is it just hard to find? A link to this item at a parts store would be greatly appreciated.

Transmission modulator? The ford shop manual refers to it as a throttle valve as well as that link, but it looks to be a Transmission modulator which you can get from LMC truck Part number 50-4436 for about $40 plus shipping. That's the only thing I can find in relation to that part, throttle valve doesn't come up anywhere. Hope this helps you.

modulater case you have to buy the whole unit, every parts house has or can gThe part is a vacuum modulater, the part you are referring to is in side the et you one some may have a color stripe on them to help I.D the correct one

There is only one listed in the LMC catalog for the C5, the C3 has 2 different ones, and the A4LD only lists 1 as well. Its on the side of the case according to the diagram in that link.

Is this for the C-3 auto if so the modulator is on the side next to the cat make sure you dont lose the rod that actuates the throttle valve.

Look at the bolt pattern for the transmission pan will tell you what tranny you have.
