Hey all!

Can someone please measure their stock Ranger (92-97) from the centerline of the hub to the upper body line? I am just finishing up my SAS and would like to know how much lift I currently have.

Thanks in advance!

I measure 30" +- .25" on my truck. Anyone with an exact lift height? Say they know their truck is lifted 4" exactly?

I'd measure mine but my springs have definately sagged over the years, the rake on my truck is disgusting. I know you probably thought it, but you should have measured before sas.

Yeah I know, Im kicking myself now. Even before I wasn't 100% sure on how much lift I had. It was +-4 inches but I'd like to know for accuracy's sake. Maybe I'll search for a stock ranger in town, I haven't seen many though.

My 99 ranger stock sat higher then the ones on the lot when I bought it new in July of 99. My friends who bought new Rangers (4x4 and 2wd) around the same timeframe (97-2000) all thought I had already lifted mine right after I bought it. So, I looked at all of the Ranger my buddies had and mine sat so much higher stock. Some were lower and others were higher then the other trucks. But, for some reason mine just sat higer then all or theirs.

I did this measurement for Wahlstrom a few years ago..(see my sig link for the thread and pictures of my truck) i have a factory 2 inch lift and 31 inch tires. The measurement from center of the hub to thebottom of the fender is 18.5 inches

Hope this helps

I would perfer the measurement to the upper body line but I bet I could find the scrap from cutting and add something up. My fenders are chopped beyond belief and I did a 4" front stretch but I bet I could get close. On that first picture you can see the top of my 35's line up perfectly with the bottom body line I haven't seen many Rangers on 35's that line up that way. My ranger is a Regular Cab, Long Bed. Odd that yours sat higher stock... Im calling it 2 inches lift but I could be way off...

Now Im really confused. If you subtract your 2" lift that puts you at 24 inches from hub to body line on a stock truck. I read 30 inches on my truck... There is no way Im running 6" of lift.

Why not just measure from the ground up to the bottom of the frame or cab and compare it to a stock ranger, would be a lot easier. That is how I ended up doing mine and found I went up just over 6".

Then I need to take into consideration tire height. This way lift is the only thing being measured.
