I can’t give you an answer I just got a lot of new camping gear I’m a truck driver but I got hurt last September I’ve had two surgery’s and a lot of therapy One more surgery to go I just want to go camping before my shoulder surgery I also want to test my gear summer and winter before I’ll give a honest opinion

Just gotta love new gear... I also appreciate you won't just say it's great until you give a good testing. That's why I don't trust a lot of reviews...

Well take it easy and go camp... it will be good for the soul. Also the perfect way to social distance yourself.

Awesome... I'm jealous. Looking forward to your post... take pics of your set up.

Before I moved to Illinois... my friends swore I was growing gills because I was fishing most weekends back in Michigan.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
How does the weight handle with it being higher up? Does it tend to sway and lean more as a result?
Bearly noticeable... it’s just even with the cab and under 100 lbs, so it’s not that high or heavy. I actually get better mileage towing with that on there... I guess the airflow off it helps.

Thanks. I've been considering one but was wondering about the weight and behavior. Especially after the cramped over night not long ago. There are times a roof top tent would be really nice to have.

I’m going to build a rack to mount it on the front of my trailer, over my quad. I want options depending on what I plan on doing. I figure, if I going someplace that I’ll need the truck, it can go on the trailer. If I don’t want to bring the trailer, I can throw it on the truck.

Our last camping trip:

My farthest trip at Southington near Garretsville Ohio. (@fastpakr and his son shared the campsite with us)
