Wanted Camper Shell/Truck Cap Mid Rise 6 ft, reg cab ranger

Hi Everyone, new to the forum! I am looking for a mid-rise truck cap for my 2010 6 ft bed reg cab ranger. I've been scoring the web and having a really hard time finding one for a reasonable price. Any help is appreciated. Might be willing to have it shipped to us depending on if it's a dealer or used parts business. We want to go camping but keep it really simple, figured this would be a good way to go. Just need to find the cap first though haha. We could potentially build a shell but hard to find the time these days.

If you didn't want one... you would pass two or three for free everyday on your drive to work.

The come up used all the time. Just have to be looking and probably ready to travel a fair distance for the right one.

I know right? I've seen a few of the regular style in my area online but we were hoping for the mid or hi-rise for more head room for camping. The rare few I have seen that we might want end being hundreds of miles away. We may end custom building a shell so we have what we want.

Yeah... having a cab high Leer on my 06... I know what you're saying about head room. If I were to put any kind of deck and drawer system in the bed I would probably be a bit to claustrophobic trying to sleep under it. I would even consider one of the contractor caps with the side access.

But I totally understand... sometimes to get what we want it might just have to be a DIY project. If you do build one... be sure to let us follow along as you build it. Would be an interesting project.

Could always pick up a regular one for cheap then use that while waiting to find the jewel.
