Camburg brake setup

i saw this pics on the camburg website.

it looks like they are using a custom TTB but the knuckles look stock. what kind of brake setup is bolted onto the rotor?

anyone seen this before?

To start that's a D44 hub and most likely a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. They are using some sort of aftermarket hub and possibly spindle. I can assume that is being use to prevent a rotor failure from taking out the bearings to they can limp back or more likely to use bigger bearings. The rotor is most likely a stock type rotor with the hat part of the rotor turned off and holes drilled and tapped for the hub. A lot of high buck aftermarket brakes are like this. I don't believe there are many 4x4 applications so they made their own.

willwod calipers. and 12 inch rotors.The hub is a custom camburg piece,looks alot like a pro am hub.could be even....that has been macined out for the locking hub.

the locking hubs,I would say come from a 3/4ton d 44. with the external hubs.

still uses the dana35 spindle snouts.so they will still have the same problem of wheel bearing's backing off.

IMHO its a polished turd set up for using the dana 35 snouts.IMO they should have used the dana 44 snouts to spread the bearing's out.

great stoping power is nice, but its even nicer when your wheels stay on.
